The Yorubas have a saying that 'you first look into the house the baby is coming from before naming the child', but I just didn't like my name. Even during my nursery/primary education in Ecoles Divines, when the teacher brought us kids out to play;we had the opportunity to sing a couple of nursery rhymes. After landing successfully, I heard the wood creak under my weight. 😣 I should have thought twice😭 ☆☆☆ So often, in our quest to be more popular and to be part of the in-group, we lose sight of things that are far more important... like how there's only one of us and being us is how we fit into the bigger picture.
